Key Information

Decklist Submission

  • Players must submit one decklist via Limitless before the tournament begins. Decks not submitted on time will result in an automatic drop from the tournament.

Check-In

  • Check-in opens 1 hour before the tournament starts. Players must check in within 5 minutes of their match's start time. Failure to check in will result in an automatic match loss. A second failure to check in will result in disqualification.
  • Late check-ins are allowed, but players must still submit their decklist in time.

Tournament Structure

  • Swiss Rounds: Matches are Best-of-Three (BO3), with 45-minute rounds and a 5-minute check-in period each round. The number of Swiss rounds depends on the participant count:

    • 4-8 players: 3 Swiss Rounds, no Top Cut
    • 9-16 players: 4 Swiss Rounds, Top 4 Cut
    • 17-32 players: 6 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Cut
    • 33-64 players: 7 Swiss Rounds, Top 8 Cut
    • 65-128 players: 6 Swiss Rounds, Top 16 Cut
    • 129-256 players: 7 Swiss Rounds, Top 16 Cut
    • 256-512 players: 8 Swiss Rounds, Top 16 Cut
  • Single Elimination Bracket: After Swiss rounds, the Top 16 players advance to a Best-of-Three (BO3) single-elimination bracket. Matches in this phase are untimed, and no check-in is required for these rounds. Each win is worth 3 points, and ties are worth 1 point.

Ties

  • Ties are resolved in various ways, and may require a judge to intervene. Ties are worth 1 point.
  • Matches that end in a tie due to the round timer expiring will be considered a tie.

Connection Issues

  • If connection issues occur before a match starts, players should attempt to reconnect.
  • If issues arise during a match, the player who sees the victory screen will be awarded the win.
  • Players are encouraged to take screenshots of the victory screen for any disputes.

General Rules & Code of Conduct

  • Players must maintain good conduct throughout the tournament. Toxicity, harassment, and disrespect toward other players or staff will result in a game loss. Repeated offenses may lead to disqualification or even a season-long ban.

Incorrect Deck Choice

  • If you realize you’ve selected the wrong deck at the start of a match, do not start the match. Restart the match immediately. A match loss will be assigned for pressing "Start Play" with the wrong deck. A second offense will result in an automatic match loss.

Bugs and Glitches

  • In the event of technical issues like game freezes, internet problems, or crashes, the affected player will typically receive a match loss unless the issue is resolved quickly. If a match is unable to continue, it may be restarted. Repeated issues will result in a match loss for the affected player.

Streaming

  • Players may stream their matches on any platform. However, stream sniping or using information from an opponent's stream for an unfair advantage will result in immediate disqualification. To avoid unfair advantages, players are encouraged to use a stream delay.

Completed Matches

  • After each match, please submit your results through Limitless. Screenshots of match results are recommended to resolve any potential disputes.
