Welcome to the councils challenge!!! this is a weekly series hosted on ptcgl and will be played in the standard format
you are now able to stream your match in our discord! these matches will have a chance to be featured on out twitch channel which you can find here: https://www.twitch.tv/the_klawf_council
RULES AND OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS
Swiss Round BO1 matches: are 30 minutes long with of Check In per round of 5 mins
Top Cut BO3 matches IF happening: are 60 minutes long with of Check In per round of 10 mins
Ties: occur when time runs out and a game still playing. If a game completes before time, but you are unable to enter the result before the timer ran out. Screenshot the game result and request a judge. They will determine based off the screenshot and check-in times if you completed the game before the timer ran out.
Sets and promo cards: Will be considered legal on the day they are available on PTCGL.
In-game issues: that include game freezing, internet issues, device crashing, or any issues that occur with the client, will have a Game Loss issued to the player. Otherwise attempt to finish the game.
Connection issues when starting the game: If the game disconnects BEFORE the first turn has been played, players will restart the game and attempt to reconnect. A time extension can be granted if needed.
It is strongly recommended that your screenshot your victory screens Unless stated in the chat that your are leaving the game due to time/tie we will award the player with the victory screen the game.
Streaming: Players are allowed to stream their games. It is recommended to have a delay on your stream to avoid "stream sniping" Any advantages gained from streaming from any player can result in match loss. This includes taking play advice from your chat, seeing the opposing players hand, etc. Anything that allows for an unfair advantage.
Any player who is found breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc. will receive penalties.
Any player who is intentionally slow playing will receive a game loss at the discretion of the judge.
Please call a judge AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for slow play.
All cards are considered "legal for play" on release day.

17-32 players = 6 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Cut
33-64 players = 7 Swiss Rounds, and Top 8 Cut
65-128 players = 6 Swiss Rounds, all with 12 Match Points continue Rounds 7-8 and Top 16 Cut
129-256 players = 7 Swiss Rounds, all with 15 Match Points continue Rounds 8-9 and Top 16 Cut
257-512 players = 8 Swiss Rounds, all with 18 Match Points continue Rounds 9-10 and Top 16 Cut
513-1024 players = 8 Swiss Rounds, all with 18 Match Points continue Rounds 9-11 and Top 16 Cut
