JUDGE ISSUES/DISCONNECTIONS

  • PLEASE Call a Judge if you need help in your match with the following:

  • No Show Opponent

  • Team Sheet Issues

  • Wrong Score Reported

  • Player Issues

  • Disconnections

Before the round

  • Call a Judge.
  • Fix the team to match the current team list
     - If you cannot change the team to match the team list, notify a Judge of the issue so we can mark it down.

  • Notify EACH opponent at the start of your rounds of the issue.
  • Failure to do so is considered dishonest behavior and can result in disqualification.

After the round has begun

Call a Judge. Gather evidence via:

  • Screen Shot of DC code
  • Recording of the DC.
  • Once a Judge has verified the issue the player in question, we can then determine next steps:
  1. If both players have same error code, we'll determine based on # of Pokemon remaining (if it's something like 4-4 on the first turn, just recreate! It's easier!)
  2. If one player is determined to have an error code that suggests their Internet is at fault, they will receive a game loss penalty
  3. Assuming there's not enough time left in the round, we will use Pokemon Showdown to determine the winner! You WILL be required to post a link to the battle in the match chat so a judge can monitor the battle!

Prizing

  • Prizing for this tournament will be TBD; winner receives a Shiny Pokemon I've hunted! (Or even $5 for a coffee)
