Event : Marathon Clash

Format: [Gen 9] VGC Regulation H

Prize: PRACTICE TOURNEY—NO PRIZING DISTRIBUTED

Date and Time: Starts Tue September 10th at 18:00 CEST

This is a one-time tournament held in celebration of FrancescoPardiniVGC’s marathon on his Twitch channel. It’s free to enter, just for fun, and open to all participants with no entry fees or prize payouts.

Rules We follow the official VGC rules established by The Pokémon Company.

1. Respect and Sportsmanship: Treat all participants with respect, regardless of rank or skill. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
2. Team Sheets: Ensure that your teamsheets are correct before submitting them. Any errors must be declared to your opponent before the match starts; otherwise, you forfeit the set.
3. Connection Issues: Report any connection errors to a judge by requesting assistance or posting in the Discord.
4. Welcoming Environment: Be kind to newer players. We are all here to have fun and enjoy our favorite game!
5. Judge Assistance: If you have any questions or issues, don’t hesitate to call a judge.

Our tournament follows a Swiss format. The number of rounds depends on player turnout:

• Under 16 players: 4 Swiss rounds, Top 4 final cut
• 17-32 players: 5 Swiss rounds, Top 8 final cut
• 33-64 players: 6 Swiss rounds, Top 8 Final Cut
• 64+ players: 6 Swiss rounds, x-2 final cut

Notes regarding no-shows. If you don't show the following will apply:

• If you don't check in on time for your round then you will be assigned a Round loss
• In case you miss the check-in, but you still show up in the following 5 min (15 min to from round start) you will be assigned a game loss penalty and a warning (in case you miss it for a second time you will be directly assigned game loss)
• If you don't show up to the round please call a judge otherwise you will be dropped from the tour
