GODS & FOLLOWERS
Go on a Crusade to assert the One True God domination!
Disclaimer
This is NOT a VGC tournament. Les Silvalliés is a french-speaking community which organizes monthly tournaments, usually based on Doubles OU and always with a twist! If you have any question, feel free to join our Discord and ask our staff, in English or in French (@Grands Silvalliés).
General rules
Support: Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, Nintendo Switch only
Format: Doubles, 6v6, level 50
Species clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.
Gravity Sleep Clause: Sleep moves with below 100% accuracy may not be used in conjunction with Gravity.
Special rules
Your team must have 1 God and 5 Followers.
- You can choose your God amongst all the allowed Pokémon. Your God has no restriction on its Tera type.
- All your Followers must share at least one common type with your God. Moreover, all your followers' Tera type must be Stellar or match one of your God's types.
For instance, if Camerupt is my God, it can have the Fairy Tera type. However, a Charizard follower can have a Fire, Ground or Stellar Tera type, but neither Flying nor Fairy.
Note regarding Terapagos and Arceus:
Despite being pure Normal types, if you choose one of these Pokémon as a God, you can freely choose a secondary type. For instance, you can choose to run Terapagos as a Normal / Grass God and have Rillaboom in your team, or Arceus as a Normal / Fire God with Incineroar. Obviously, you can't have Terapagos, Rillaboom and Incineroar in the same team. Moreover, if Arceus is your God, it can only be Normal-type or your secondary type. For instance, Arceus holding a Bug-Plate in a Normal /Water team is not allowed.

Fun score
At the end of each match, you and your opponent must rate your battle with a Fun score from 0 to 3 points and communicate it to the tournament organizers via Discord or Limitless.
- 3 = very interesting and/or fun match
- 2 = nice match
- 1 = average match, nothing special
- 0 = boring match
Your two scores are then added together, and both players win the sum of the fun points. At the end of the tournament, fun points are used to break a tie between players with the same number of wins and losses.
Note: Ties based on fun points take precedence over any other ranking system proposed by Limitless. Of course, the number of wins and losses remains the primary ranking criterion.
Mael's bonus points
A "Mael point" is, generally speaking, an original technique, i.e. one that is rarely used in "serious" battle, as it is considered bad or inferior to other options. We want to reward players who manage to exploit these inferior options and put their opponents under pressure with them.
Based on the Gdoc below, a Mael point can be an item or a move not mentioned among those of the Pokémon.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19FTWCJEosST6I5JX6bAXqjMRJ_8Rg215ekybhylpI-0/
In order to earn a Mael point, it must have been clearly seen during the battle and, at your option:
- knocked out an opposing Pokémon
- have made a KO possible
- put enough pressure on the opponent to force a switch
Some examples of valid Mael points:
- Volcarona's String Shot enabled its partner to outspeed and KO an opponent.
- Thanks to Bombirdier's Torment, the opponent's Pikachu was unable to use Thunderbolt and knock out Squawkabilly. Whether the Pikachu is removed or knocked out on the following turn, the Mael point is valid.
- Thanks to its Quick Claw, Gastrodon was able to move before its opponent and knock it out.
If a player achieves a Mael point, they earn an extra fun point at the end of the match (but their opponent doesn't, unless they completed a Mael point too).
Even if a player manages to complete several Mael point in a single match, they only earn one bonus point at the end (we want to keep your teams competitive!). However, nothing prevents a player from planning several Mael points in order to increase their chances of achieving at least one.
