Welcome to the Eagle's Nest Webcam Locals!!!

Details:

I would love to welcome everyone to The Eagle's Nest Webcam Locals. This event will be using the special HERO POWERS rules! Of course, NO SIDEDECKS and one MULLIGAN. Decklists will be submitted via limitless. The standard Digimon TCG banlist will be in effect for these events unless stated otherwise:

Hero Powers!

Hero Powers:
Inspired by Hearthstone, at the start of each game (before shuffling and drawing a hand), choose a 2-cost or 3-cost option from your deck and leave it face down in the play area.
  • Once per turn, you can use that option's [non-Delay] Main effect for cost.
  • The option may stay hidden until you use it. It can be used once every turn.
  • You must still follow the regular rules/requirements of the option.
  • Does not provide delay effects, and does not count as playing/using an option.
  • You can choose a different option each game, as long as it is in your deck and is a 2-cost or 3-cost.
  • Effects may not reduce the cost of the option, or change it's colour requirement rules.
  • Your Hero Power option will not trigger effects that trigger off of options being used, such as BT3-091 Lilithmon for example.
  • Digimon and Tamers that let use use options can not activate your Hero Power, for example EX2-060 Rika Nonaka, or BT4-089 Plutomon.

    Deckbuilding Tips

  • The deck must still be 50 cards including your options that you may choose to use as Hero Powers. You are not locked into your Hero Power between games, meaning if you have a better choice in your deck after playing game 1, you can choose the better option for game 2.
  • If you are including an option with the intention of it being a Hero Power, you probably do not need to play more than one of that option in your deck because you will have access to it every turn.
  • Options with delay effects would work poorly as Hero Powers because they can not be delayed. The Hero Power option is considered outside the game. It does not exist in any play areas. That means it can not be delayed. For example, you could use Red Memory Boost! to search/reveal and take a card, but you would not later gain 2 memory from it's delay.
  • Placing a card face down as your Hero Power is optional at the start of setup every game. If you want to, you can opt to not place a card face down, or you can place a non-qualifying card face down and just never reveal it.

  • Restriction/Banlist

    - Restriction List

Win Rate: 60%! is not allowed as a Hero Power. This does not affect the normal limit [4] to the deck.

Please note we will be using the March 1st banlist!!!

Please make sure you are in the Eagle's Nest discord also as the events will be held there (and don't forget to agree to the rules before you can gain access to the server)!

You can also receive tournament related notification by reacting in the Discord server's #Tournament-Role channel.

    Other Details

We will have a judge for the tourney at all times. To request any help from a judge, please use the @judge ping in the judge-request channel. Tables are also numbered 1-16 which will correspond with the voice channels in the Eagle's Nest Cord. If every table finishes before the timer runs out, then we will possibly move onto the next round sooner. Spectating is allowed, please keep muted. Overtime rules are 0-3 turns to finish, or a draw.
We will play a minimum of 3 rounds for this tournament. Normally, an undefeated is the stopping point, but we will avoid one round tourneys by implementing this rule. Additionally, the top table in the final round will have no timer so they can finish their set.
