Welcome to Mystic Nexus!

We host a couple of weekly tournaments, and strive to have a friendly group. We may give out prizes sometimes in our tournament, but our main goal is to have a friendly place for people to hang out, make friends, and have some fun playing tournaments!

Mystic Nexus started for 2 main reasons... There's no in-game chat in PCTGL, and there's not always a tournament going on! So for those social people who like to be able to chat to their opponent, this platform is perfect! It also helps you learn more about your deck, and your opponents, since you have a chance to discuss together your strengths and weaknesses. And any mistakes you or your opponent made ;)

So of course it's great to be competitive, but above all, try and have fun!

Please keep an eye out for the next round starting, as it may start early if all matches finish early. If there are no snorlax players ;)

If you're having in game issues, your opponent may choose to allow you to restart your game, and hence restart the match. However, this decision is up to your opponent. If they decide not to (as it could be seen as you resetting because of a bad hand) then the win will go to them.

First time? No worries! Just keep an eye on your dashboard, make sure you check in when check-in opens, and submit your deck. When the tournament starts it should match you with a player. Once matched, click on the payer's name which will be highlighted on your dashboard, and you can check in on the next screen to that match. Then you just add the person as a friend in game (or they you) and you have a set amount of minutes to play your game, and when your game is over, you both declare who won. If you have any issues, or a disagreement, call a judge, and that's about it! Hope you have fun, and good luck!

You don't need to join discord, but it's always nice to see people chatting about their games, and also may be beneficial if you need a judge calling. Especially if you're a new player, or just new to tournaments, we'll help you as best we can :)

Hope you enjoy!
