Here at AK Crazy Collector and Kenai Peninsula Pokemon Group, we are an inclusive group that looks to improve the skills of ALL PLAYERS from those new to the game or the many that have been around for a long time. With monthly tournaments, we hope to provide a place for ALL Trainers to have a fun, family-friendly environment to test out their builds hone their skills, or just enjoy the game of Pokemon!

We have been developing these tournaments to give players a fun, competitive environment in which to play and test their builds. With Certified Pokemon Judges/Players on staff, we have been working to create a perfect product that all players will enjoy being part of and look forward to every week! We appreciate your patience, we have worked on creating a much better system for our tournament series. Thank you for your participation in our events and good luck

Tournament Information

-Code 99669

-The Tournament will have Two Phases: Swiss Rounds BO1 and a Top Cut BO3

-Swiss Rounds BO1 Matches are 20 minutes long along with a 5 - minute Check-In per round.

-Top Cut BO1 Matches are 60 minutes along with a 5-minute Check-In per round.

-Each participant will be required to both check and Submit a Decklist before the tournament starts.

-If a Decklist is not Pokémon TCG Standard Legal, then you will be notified to change your deck.

-Failure to comply will result in the player being disqualified from the tournament.

-If you made any mistakes with your initial deck list submission, please contact a Judge/Tournament organizer to get approval for changes to be made.

-When the tournament starts, all players who have not submitted deck lists or have not checked in will be removed from the tournament.

-If you are running late, then please notify a member of Staff.

-It is the players’ responsibility to Check In to all matches. If you fail to check in to any match, then you will be issued with an automatic Game Loss.

-If you fail to check into at least two matches, then you will be disqualified from the tournament for Inactivity.

-If Time for a Round is called, the current Swiss Round Matches in session will end in a Tie unless otherwise stated by the Judge.

-Either player can choose to concede the match to give their opponent the Win, otherwise, the match will be considered a Tie.

-For Top Cut Matches still in session during the Time being called, then the game will be extended by a maximum of three turns until a winner is decided or there is a difference in the prizes.

-If after the three turns, a winner is still not decided, then the game will continue until a player takes a prize.

-Tournament will allow people to stream their games if they have permission from the Judge and Tournament Organizer

-If at any time you have any questions or concerns, contact any of the Tournament Staff.

Format

-Standard Legal Format (Regulation E, F & G) including Paradox Rift! -OPEN DECKLIST with Decklist Submission before the start of the tournament.

Rules

-Any player who is found breaking Tournament Rules, harassment, etc. will receive penalties under the Staff or Judge's discretion.

-Any unsportsmanlike behavior should be reported to a judge right away.

-Unsportsmanlike conduct will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in a short-term temporary ban, or a permanent ban. Please be kind to everyone!

-Judge Calls Issues and problems during your match will be handled by our Tournament Staff.

-Any player who is found to be behaving inappropriately will be given a Warning, and all conflict, harassment, etc. will be handled by a Moderator.

-If failure to comply, then we will be escalating the penalties based on the staff’s discretion.

-If you select the wrong deck when starting a game, please Call a Judge Immediately. The match will be restarted, and the round will be extended if need be. If you have made any other actions in the game, you will be issued an automatic Game Loss.

-If you believe your opponent is Slow Playing, please call a Judge as early as possible

Rounds

Phase 1 Swiss Rounds

The Number of rounds will be based on the number of participants. We will be following Pokémon TCG Tournament Structure Standards.

4–8 players = 3 Swiss Rounds and No Top Cut

9–12 players = 4 Swiss Rounds and Top 4 Cut

13–20 players = 5 Swiss Rounds and Top 4 Cut

21–32 players = 5 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut

33–64 players = 6 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
