All Couch TCG Limitless Tournaments are Pokémon TCG Live Standard Format and are Open Decklist.
The Tournament will have Two Phases; Swiss Rounds and a Top Cut.
Swiss Rounds BO1 Matches are 30 minutes long along with a 5-minute Check In per round.
Top Cut BO3 Matches are 60 minutes long along with a 5-minute Check In per round.
Each participant will required to both Check In and Submit a Decklist before the tournament starts.
If a Decklist is not Pokémon TCG Standard Legal, then you will be notified to change your decklist. Failure to comply will result in the player being Disqualified from the tournament. If you made any mistakes with your initial decklist submission, please contact a Judge to get an approval for changes to be made.
When the tournament starts, all players that have not submitted decklists or not checked in will be removed from the tournament. If you are running late, then please notify a member of Staff on the discord so we can add a Late Timer.
It is the players’ responsibility to Check In to all matches. If you fail to check in to any match, then you will be issued with an automatic Game Loss. If you fail to check into at least two matches, then you will be Disqualified from the tournament for Inactivity.
If Time for a round is called, the current Swiss Round Matches in session will end in a Tie unless otherwise stated by a member of staff. Either player can choose to concede the match in order to give their opponent the Win, otherwise the match will be considered a Tie.
For Top Cut Matches still in session during Time being called, then the game will be extended by a maximum of three turns until a winner is decided or there is a difference in the prizes. If after the three turns, a winner is still not decided, then the game will continue until a player takes a prize.
All cards are considered Legal for play the day they are released on Pokémon TCG Live. If the Limitless website doesn't recognize the cards yet, then those cards are considered Illegal for play.
The Tournament will not be allowing people to stream their games on Twitch.
If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please join the discord, and please contact any of the Tournament Staff, and we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns.
Any player who is found breaking Discord or Tournament Rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc. will receive penalties under the Staff or Judges discretion.
Judge Calls Issues and problems during your match will be handled by our Tournament Staff. Please use the Judge Call button. Any issues brought up on Discord won't be guaranteed to be answered.
Proof that needs to be provided by players about any issue will need to be sent to one of the Tournament Staff on the Discord server.
Any player who is found to be behaving inappropriately will be given a Warning, and all conflict, harassment, etc. will be handled by a Moderator. If failure to comply, then we will be escalating the penalties based on the staff’s discretion.
If you select the wrong deck when starting a game, please Call a Judge Immediately. The match will be restarted, and the round will be extended if need be. If you have made any other actions in game, you will be issued an automatic Game Loss.
Wrongly Reported Matches will need to be proved with a screenshot of the victory screen so that the game’s report can be corrected. If the person causing this issue does this more than once in the tournament, then they will be told that they will be Disqualified for trying to rig the tournament in their favour.
If you believe your opponent is Slow Playing, please call a Judge as early as possible. The only acceptable form of proof is if you can show either a recorded clip of the instance or the streaming your game in the Couch TCG Discord.
If you experience any of the following but not limited to: Game Freezing, Internet Issues, Server Issues, Game Lag, Glitches, Device Crashing, Game Disconnection a Game Loss will be issued to the player experiencing the issue if the game is Unstable. Otherwise, please attempt to finish the game if possible.
