Bo1 - Swiss - 5 Rounds

Discord Server: https://discord.gg/yp6CxBVk88

Format Rules:

  • YOU MUST play at least 1 copy of the same line-topper Pokémon for every type. [Example: a deck must have at least 1 Colorless Pokémon, 1 Grass Pokémon, 1 Fire Pokémon, 1 Water Pokémon, 1 Lightning Pokémon, 1 Psychic Pokémon, 1 Fighting Pokémon, 1 Darkness Pokémon, 1 Metal Pokémon and 1 Dragon Pokémon]

  • YOU CANNOT play more than 1 line for each type. [Example: You cannot play the Raichu line and Boltund VMAX in the same deck]

  • YOU CANNOT play more than 3 copies of the same Pokémon card.

  • YOU CANNOT play 2 different Pokémon cards of the same name in the same deck. [Example: You cannot play 2 of the Pokémon GO Snorlax and 1 of the Lost Origin Snorlax in the same deck]

  • If you play an evolution Pokémon, YOU MUST play at least 1 copy of each of its pre-evolution. This also applies to a Stage 1 pre-evolution of a Stage 2 Pokémon, even if you play Rare Candy. Including fossil cards. [Example: If you play 2 Crobat, you must at least play 1 Golbat and 1 Zubat too]

  • You can play Pokémon with a Rule Box. V-UNION Pokémon are banned because you must play 1 copy of each quarter. [Example: You can play a 2-2 Hatterene VMAX line as your Psychic type line, or a 3-3-3 Meowscarada ex as your Grass type line, or a Radiant Eternatus as your Dragon type line]

  • You don't necessarily need the fully-evolved Pokémon to finish the line in your deck. [Example: You can have a 2-2 Flaaffy without an Ampharos card, or 1 copy of Hisuian Decidueye V without the VSTAR, or 3 Hisuian Basulin without the Hisuian Basculegion]

  • Only the last evolution in the line in the deck represents the typing. [Example: you can have Gallade represent your Fighting type line even if you have Psychic type Kirlia and Ralts cards]

  • You can play a split evolution if they have different types, but YOU MUST still play a maximum of 3 and minimum of 2 of the pre-evolutions. [Example: You can play 2 Psychic type Gardevoir and 1 Fighting type Gallade, but in that example, you can only play 3 Kirlia and 3 Ralts]

  • Format is Standard (E Regulation and on)

  • You can check some decklist examples here: https://imgur.com/a/aZLoH3k (Arceus VSTAR, Mew VMAX, Lost Box, Archeops Omastar, etc)

Tournament Rules:

  • You must Check In to the tournament and submit your decklist before it starts. You also need to Check In before each round, if you do not, you'll get a game loss.

  • If you get disconnected or if a good ol' classic PTCG Live game-breaking bug happens in one of your games, you'll, unfortunately, get a game loss.

  • Please be respectful, no trash talk, and have good sportsmanship. Any unsportsmanlike behavior can be reported, reviewed by the TO or a judge and can lead to at worst a disqualification.

  • If your opponent has an illegal or false decklist, it's your responsibility to report it to a judge.

Prizing:

1st Place: 10 Paldea Evolved Codes

2nd Place: 5 Paldea Evolved Codes

3rd & 4th Place: 2 Paldea Evolved Code

This is one of the first online tournaments I'm organizing. If you have any feedback you can contact me on Discord. And please be patient if I'm trying to figure something out and it takes a little time.
