Welcome to Acropolis VGC Showdown Circuit!!!
Tournament format
- Free entry!
- Regulation D format.
- Best of 3 - Open Team Sheets.
- All games will be played on Pokemon Showdown.
- Players must send 3 challenges to their opponent, in order to have all 3 games opened.
- All games played must have the game timer ON.
- Timer must start at the begining of each game.
- Running out of time results in game loss.
Play Honestly
- Intentionally dishonest players will be disqualified from the tournament and may be banned from all future competitions as well.
- Stream Sniping is labeled as deliberately dishonest.
- Players must register on the Discord server to play and receive tournament updates.
- You may be penalized if we are unable to contact you.
Treat everyone with respect
- We want to maintain a fair competitive environment.
- Zero tolerance for rudeness, hatred, racism and all levels of fanaticism.
- The player will be disqualified immediately and may be banned from future competitions, depending on the severity!
Each player must submit a team sheet before the start of Round 1
- REQUIRED Pokemon (form), Ability, Held Item, Moves and Tera types for all 6 Pokemon
- Deviations are subject to possible penalties.
Arrive in time for your match!
- Don't forget to check in for your match!
- Players will have 10 minutes to check in for their match.
- After 10 minutes, Limitless will automatically give players who haven't checked in a loss for the round.
- If you know you will be late for a match, please let the Tournament Organizers know so they can adjust accordingly.
Listen and collaborate with Tournament Organizers and Judges.
- Failure to cooperate may result in loss of game or disqualification from the event.
Discord
Players must register on the Acropolis VGC Circuit Discord Server - here we will share tournament announcements.
For any problems click CALL A JUDGE in your match. Issues include:
- The opponent does not appear.
- Team sheets, disconnections or discrepancies.
- Rude opponent.
Disconnections
- It is PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that they have a stable internet connection. Leaving the match, disconnecting or losing due to innactivity may result in game loss.
Group sheet errors
- It is PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY to provide a complete and accurate team sheet. Once the tournament starts, you won't be able to make any changes to your team sheet. Double check that your team sheet submission is correct.
- If possible, take a screenshot or save the recording.
- After verifying a team sheet error, the violating player will receive a game loss for the current game.
- The violating player has the option to correct the difference by updating their Pokémon to match their team's card
- If the player is unable to update the Pokémon in their game to match the team sheet they have submitted, they will no longer be able to bring that Pokémon to other games in any of their rounds.
