The Hoenn State Trio Tourney is a tournament hosted by the Hoenn State VGC community. Feel free to join the discord and come hang out with us!

The Rules are as follows:

★ The Trio Tourney is played in the regular VGC 2023 Regulation C rules on the Showdown.

★ Players must register and hour before the tournament begins. Players must also submit their team sheet before the tournament begins by using a Poképaste list. Open team sheet format will be used for the whole tournament

★ The Trio Tourney will be played in a Best Of 3 format! Meaning, the first to win 2 games between you and your opponent will get the victory of the set.

★ Number of swiss rounds will depend on player number, players will be informed of this in the discord.

17-32 players > 5 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss) 33-64 players > 6 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss) 65-128 players > 7 swiss rounds > Top 8 (right after swiss) > Top 4 (next day, times determined by remaining players).
