PHASE 1: Swiss Rounds

BO1: You'll play a single game against your opponent. Rounds are 30 minutes long (any incomplete matches will be scored a tie) Top 8 players advance to the next phase.

PHASE 2: Top Cut

BO3: You'll play a best of 3 games against your opponent. Rounds are 50 minutes long. The winner of the coin flip decides who goes first for Game 1. The loser of Game 1 choses who goes first for Game 2. And the loser of Game 2 choses who goes first for Game 3.

RULES:

Check In Policy: Players must CHECK-IN within the first 5 minutes of each round. Failure to do so will result in a game loss. In an effort to ensure as many players as possible are paired with active opponents, those who fail to check in may be dropped. If you miss a round by accident but still intend to play in future rounds, it's your responsibility to make the organizers aware that you wish to continue in the event.

Wrong Deck Selected: If a player chooses the wrong deck by accident, they must declare so immediately before any actions are taken and request a Judge. If any conditions above are not met, the result is a game loss.

Illegal Decklist: If a player is discovered to have submitted a deck that does not comply with the rules, they will be dropped from the event without exception. It is the player’s responsibility to submit a legal decklist in advance; no changes of any kind are allowed once the event has started.

Disconnections/Leaving a Game: In the event of a disconnect, the timer will continue to run while the player attempts to reconnect. If the game ends the match due to inactivity or a player leaves the game for any other reason, it is considered a game loss. If you experience any of the following, but not limited to: Game Freezing, Internet Issues, Server Issues, Game Lag, Software Glitch, Device Crashing - it will be awarded as a Game Loss to the player experiencing the issue if the game is unusable. Otherwise attempt to finish the game if possible. The player that is uneffected by the issue MAY choose to take the win or restart the match if they so choose but NO extra time will be added to the match.

Victory Screens: It is strongly recommended to have screenshot proof of any win or tie upon the conclusion of a game. If you leave a game without explicitly stating "time is over, this is a tie" or something similar, it could be perceived as a concession.
