What:

We are excited to announce the first ever Webcam War Tournament Win a Box series for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Paldea Evolved! Playing in Webcam War Open: Win a Box gives you the opportunity to earn points towards physical Pokemon TCG prizing at the end of the series!

There are five (5) tournaments in this Win a Box series and the points from each tournament will carry over to the next. At the end of the series, we will total each player's point total. The four (4) players with the highest point total at the end of the series will be eligible for prizing!

How to Play:

In this event players will be matched via Limitless, but games will be played in the Webcam War Discord (link at the bottom of the page) with webcam & physical TCG Cards! Please ensure that you have an adequate top down or angled set up in a well lit area before registering. There is extra information about how to turn your smart phone into a webcam as well as links to tripods and arm extenders in the Webcam War Discord.

Due to the nature of webcam tournaments, you must have your entire board visible at all times. Turning your camera off during a match is not allowed. Turning your camera off or disconnecting from Discord may result in a round loss.

Your voice & video may be used in livestreams or other curated content between the hosts or participants in the event! Registration is your consent to this!

When:

This season of Webcam War Series: Win a Box will run from May 4 to June 22 with tournaments every other Thursday.

The first event will be on May 4th @ 7PM Eastern REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN END 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT STARTS. Please have your set up ready before round 1 begins.

Format:

Standard Format (BST-PAL) Paldea Evolved will be LEGAL. Proxies are NOT ALLOWED during the Webcam War Series: Win a Box

Structure:

•Best of 1

•Swiss Rounds (number of rounds is based on attendance)

•NO Top Cut

•35 Minute Rounds (which includes check in & setup)

Deck Lists:

You must submit your deck list on Limitless prior to each event starting. In addition, please have a photo of your physical deck ready for submission if requested by tournament staff.

Prizing:

Players with the highest point total over the series will be eligible for the below prizes!

•First place: Paldea Evolved booster box •Second place: Paldea Evolved Elite Trainer Box (random art) •Third and Fourth: Paldea Evolved Booster Bundle

Code cards may be given out as participation prizes at the tournament organizer’s discretion. These code cards may be for any set in the current Standard format and may vary in amount awarded.

Prizes will be distributed following the conclusion of the series on June 22nd.

Players must be in the Continental US to receive physical product st00ben and Ninecard TCG are not eligible for prizing

Point Structure:

1st = 15

2nd = 12

3rd-4th = 10

5th-8th = 8 (kicker: 24)
