CardArt SV 1K is a real life event in Northern California! This is a high level event, guidelines and penalties will be enforced as such! If you are in the area and would like to participate, please join the Discord. THIS IS NOT A SANCTIONED EVENT.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Start time and schedule: Round 1 will begin at 11am PDT, with the store and check-in opening at 10am PT. A player's meeting will be held at 10:50am PT. A minimum 45 minute break will be granted between swiss and top cut rounds for deck checks and food breaks. Please see the schedule on Limitless for approximate round times.

Card Legality: PTCG Post-Rotation Standard format (E block on, Scarlet Violet legal; identical to the official standard format ad of 4/14/2023). No proxies allowed.

Match reporting: Please record your match on the provided match slip with each player's initials to verify results. Only take your cellphones out after the completion of a match. Please call a judge if there are any discrepancies in your match report - it is the player's responsibility to make sure at the end of the round that the submitted match results are true and accurate.

Decklists: Decklist submissions are required for this event ON LIMITLESS. Paper decklists will not be accepted. Decklists will be closed - decklists are subject to release after the conclusion of the tournament by TO discretion. Judges will preform random deck checks and deck checks for players in top cut! REALLY, NO PAPER DECKLISTS!

Format: Swiss, best of 1, 30 minute rounds. 8 player top cut (based on attendance), 50 minute rounds BO3. Wins are worth 3 points, ties are worth 1.

Entry fee: Prereg $25 paid in store, $30 day-of. Reach out to CAT | Ryan#0001 on Discord if that is not feasible for alternate arrangements. You must pay before receiving your one-time use registration code. Refunds will only be provided via store credit.

Prizing: Prizing paid out to top 8, with players paid out based on number of entrants. Max payouts: 1st place: $400, 2nd place: $200, 3-4th: $100 each, 5-8th: $50 each

Waitlist: 56 players cap. Past 56 players, players on the waitlist will be added on a first-come, first-served basis.

Player Safety: This event will be in compliance with the Play! Pokémon COVID-19 guidelines. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove without refund players who fail to follow these rules. View the full Play! Pokémon COVID-19 requirements at the bottom of this page.

1. DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL/SHOW COVID-19 RELATED SYMPTOMS.
2. Face coverings are encouraged at ALL times.
3. No eating in the play areas, but please feel free to step outside to eat!
4. Cups or drinks should not be on the table, please bring only lidded drinks and keep them below the table in a safe location.
5. Please do not gather closely around tables to spectate -- players should stand 6 feet away from matches in progress.

Player Eligibility: Players under the age of 13 are not allowed on Discord in compliance with the Discord terms of service. Players under the age of 13 may still play, but must be accompanied by an adult, and show up early to register. All other players must be in good standing, and avoid bullying/harassment/bad conduct while at the CardArt SV Legal 1K and in online communications.

Livestreams and media: Livestreams or recordings may occur at these events. By participating, you agree to be recorded for a livestream or video content.

Proxy cards: No proxy cards will be allowed at this event from players. In the event a card is damaged during the event, the Head Judge may provide a proxy at their discretion.

Please keep an eye on the Discord, linked on this page (it's the CardArt specific Discord). Online communications will take place over Discord outside of the event for coordination purposes. Discord updates on official channels may supersede rules on Limitless.
