Rules - Read up and be familiar with these before registering

  1. Join us in the Castelia City Discord and be present for the duration of the tour!

    • This allows us all to communicate freely and easier in case we run into trouble
  2. Be Honest

    • Intentionally dishonest trainers (such as not having team sheets matching) will be disqualified from the event and banned from all future tours.
    • Stream sniping other trainers will be treated as a form of intentional dishonesty
  3. Team sheets must be turned in before round one has begun

    • Pokemon (form), Ability, Held Item, Moves, and Tera types are REQUIRED
    • Discrepancies may lead to disqualification so make sure you have your Quaxlies in a row
  4. Treat everyone with respect

    • Zero tolerance for rudeness, hatred, racism, and bigotry of all kinds. This is a space where people come to share something we all enjoy, do not soil it.
    • Players who are disrespectful will be instantly dropped from the event and banned from future tours
  5. Be prompt and arrive on time!

    • Trainers will have 5 minutes to check into their match at the start of each round
    • After those 5 min Limitless automatically awards un-checked-in trainers a game loss for the round
    • If there are any issues and you cannot check in for your match contact the TO and they'll take care of you
  6. Don't be afraid to CALL A JUDGE, they're here to help with:

    • Round no shows
    • Disconnections or team sheet discrepancies
    • Rude opponent
  7. Rental Teams are allowed

    • Make sure you have the correct info from the rental if you plan on using one!

Discord

Be sure to join the Castelia City Discord - here you will find tournament announcements and contact with a judge should any issue occur.

Disconnections

Scarlet and Violet is clunky, sometimes a DC may occur but don't fret all you need to do is provide the error code. Error code will pop up in the event of a DC and will have a combination of letters and numbers. To provide your judge or TO with the error be sure to:

  1. TAKE A PHOTO OF THE ERROR CODE USING YOUR PHONE
  2. Hit that CALL A JUDGE button on your limitless match form

Team Sheet Discrepancies

TRAINERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for providing a full and accurate team sheet. Once the event has started you will not be able to make adjustments to your team sheet. Please double or triple check your sheet for accuracy and to provide everyone a smooth tournament experience.

Should YOU have a team sheet discrepancy before the match starts

  1. Call a judge
  2. Fix the discrepancy by updating the Pokemon to match what is written on the sheet
    • From that point forward you are responsible for notifying your opponents of your discrepancy through the limitless chat function, unless of course you fixed it and resolved that issue with a judge. Failure to not take care of that does count as dishonesty and you may be DQ'ed from your tournament run.

If a discrepancy is found DURING the match

  1. Call a judge
  2. Take a photo/screenshot if possible - if you have the ability to take a recording it'll help you out in the long run
  3. Once verified, the offending player will receive a game loss for the current game.
  4. Offending player can then either fix the discrepancy by updating their Pokemon to match their sheet OR they can choose to no longer use that Pokemon for the rest of the tournament.
  5. For the rest of the event if the offending trainer cannot update their team to match their team sheet, that trainer must notify their opponents of the error and take a game 1 loss.
    • Continued use of a Pokemon that does not match their sheet without disclosing it to their opponent will result in a disqualification.
