How to sign up to the Tour?

  1. Send the payment of 5.6$ via PayPal to: odricgg@gmail.com (https://www.paypal.me/odricgg)
  2. As a comment in the payment, add your e-mail with your full name so we can send you the participation code. (This may take up to 24 hrs).
  3. Finish the registration in the Limitless platform.

Check in will begin 1 hour before the start time of the tournament posted on the home page:

  • CHECK IN: 9:00 AM UTC/GMT -4
  • ROUND 1: 10:00 AM UTC/GMT-4

Prizepool:

70% of the prizepool will be divided as follows:

  • 35% to the Champion of the tour. E.g.: For 100 players registered, the Champion would win $175.
  • 15% to the Runner-Up of the tour. E.g.: For 100 players registered, the Runner-Up would win $75.
  • 10% to each player in the Top 4. E.g.: For 100 players registered, Top4 players would win $50 each.

Rules:

  • Tournament Format: Swiss rounds with an X-2 or better Top Cut.
  • Open team sheets.
  • Battles will use the VGC 2023 Regulation C Rules. Games should be played using the Official Rules 1 rules in game using the UNION CIRCLE to connect.
  • 55 Minute timer per round. New rounds will start upon completion of the previous round.
  • Best of 3 sets.
  • All games are to be played on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
  • Players can report their own score.

Battle Format:

  • This tournament will use VGC 2023 Regulation C rules, and be played using Official Rules 1 in game.
  • Games will be played as double battles in which you have a team of 6 Pokémon and use 4 of them in each game.
  • Players must use the exact same team for the entire tournament. Changing even a single move or item during the tournament is strictly prohibited, as is training your Pokémon to have different stats or using an Ability Capsule or other stat modifying items.
    • All Pokémon are available from the Paldea Pokédex, except Miraidon, and Koraidon.
    • Pokémon obtained through unreleased events or through illegitimate means are not allowed.
  • Rulings during the tournament will be applied using the "Play Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook" and the "Play Pokémon VG Rules and Format"

Tournament Structure:

  • The tournament will be divided into two days as follows:
    • Saturday 18: Swiss Rounds. Number of rounds depends on attendance. On each round, you play an opponent with a similar record so far into the tournament as yours. You are not eliminated after the first round, and you can play all rounds regardless of your record.
    • Sunday 19: Single-elimination bracket Top Cut. All players having finished with 2 or fewer losses (x-2) on Saturday are qualified.
  • Top Cut will be seeded according to final placements in the Swiss rounds.
