Deagle's Beagle Battles #5

ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT

We will have so far at least $240 in prizes for this tournament! Sponsored by Manny Morales (@PapiCantan on Twitter)

  • 1st - $100
  • 2nd - $50
  • 3rd and 4th - $25 each
  • 5th through 8th - $10 each
  • Prize distribution may be subject to change as we get more registrants or a larger prize pool.
  • If we get 100+ registrants then DeagleBeagle will donate $40 so that all Top8s will get $10. (We reached that already thanks for sharing the link!) Share the link of this tournament to get the word out! It's gonna be huge!

Free entry! Open Teamsheet (teamsheet errors will result in a game loss, all teras must be listed) Bring 6 Pokémon and Choose 4! Best of 3 until Top Cut X-1 BO3 Swiss Single Elimination Bracket 5 Rounds before Top Cut There is no Day 2, all battles will be done today!

Must be in Discord at all times. Check-in time of 10 minutes - request a judge if you were active but forgot to click the button. No grace period anymore for this time. Frequently late players may be removed from the tourney and/or banned from future ones if it becomes a repeated issue without communicating about it in advance.

Players must type something in the Limitless battle chat within the 10 minutes of check-in time. If players do not then it is assumed that they were inactive and may lose the match/round. No switching any part of your team whatsoever even if it isn't listed on the OTS.

If you have anything different from your OTS team or from a team you used before in the same tourney, then those things will not be allowed to be used in the tourney. For example, if you have Iron Hands with Tera Fighting on accident and it turns out to be Tera Grass, you are not allowed to Tera that pokemon if you do pick it. If you Tera it, it becomes a game loss. If you are purposefully changing stuff to get an advantage then you will likely get banned from DeagleBeagle's tourneys. If there is a delay from getting your team in-game to match the teamsheet you get a game loss and can't use the move or tera or item whatever that is different from the teamsheet for the following matches. Let your opponents know before the game if anything is different.

You can miss up to 2 rounds and still participate in the tourney. I might change the above rule for future tourneys. You also are allowed to use a Rental Team, but DeagleBeagle reserves the right to reverse this decision at any point throughout the tourney if he so chooses. Battles on Showdown are fine as long as both players agree to it without pressure. If they decline then you either play on the Switch or lose the round. Showdown may be used in case there is an issue with the Switch Online for all players.

No bullying anyone when they make Request for a Judge! I don't want anyone resentful for buckling to someone's complaints about them calling for a Judge when they aren't sure about something or don't think something is fair.

If there is ever an issue or you are not sure about something, contact a judge IMMEDIATELY! Them not having an item or move etc. correct on their teamsheet doesn't necessarily mean they lose. It is up to a judge to decide whether a player loses.

Rounds must start 10 minutes after it begins, failure to check in will result in a loss. Let a judge know if a player hasn't been active within the first 5 minutes though by a Judge Request so we can resolve the situation.
