  • Games must be played on Pokémon Scarlet/Violet on the Nintendo Switch (no Showdown)
  • Rental teams are allowed!
  • No top cut / no prizes - just practice!

Why hello there! I hope this message finds you well - I see you’re out for a stroll on this fine Sunday afternoon. Mind if we stop and chat for a bit?

The SimplyGabby’s Sunday Stroll tournament series is a (semi)weekly tournament for players to practice open teamsheet Best-of-3 VGC rounds. There is no top cut, no prizing, and no real point to entering one of these other than getting a few good rounds of the ol’ Pokémon in. Please make yourself comfy while you’re here - it’s important to take care of yourself!

Rules:

Please read all rules before registering!

  • Uphold the Spirit of the Game (as defined in the Play! Pokémon rules)
  • Follow and adhere to the Inclusivity Policy (as defined in the Play! Pokémon rules)
    • Intentionally cheating or otherwise dishonest play will be disqualified from this tournament and banned from all future events.
    • This includes stream sniping or backseat playing. You’re practicing to improve, don’t cheat yourself of that!
    • This also includes having or using hateful or offensive nicknames, trainer names, or otherwise treating your opponent with rudeness, hatred, racism, and all levels of bigotry
  • All competitors must join the Discord server below to play and receive tournament updates.
  • Team sheets must be submitted prior to the start of Round 1 (approximately 30 minutes after check-in starts)
  • Team sheets must contain all information required of the Play! Pokémon rules
    • This includes Pokémon (form), Ability, Held Item, Tera Type, and Moves for all 6 of your Pokémon
    • Lacking information or otherwise having a discrepancy on your team sheet will result in a round loss.

Tournament Structure:

  • Players will have 10 minutes from the start of the round to check into their match
    • After 10 minutes, Limitless will automatically give un-checked-in players a loss for the round.
    • If you know you’re going to be late to a match or are otherwise dropping from the tournament please let a Tournament Organizer know.
  • Rounds will last 50 minutes or until all games have been played.
  • If there are any problems during the round, please reach out via Discord and a Tournament Organizer can help you.
