Tournament Format

1. Open Team Sheets

3. Best of 3 for Swiss, Best of 3 for Top Cut
4. This Tournament is played on the Nintendo Switch, not Showdown
5. 6 Rounds of Swiss then Top Cut
6. VGC Tournament Twice a Month on Sunday
7. 1st Place Prize of $25 Amazon Gift card or Paypal Transfer

Rules

1. This tournament is Series 2 Rules. (https://www.serebii.net/scarletviolet/rankedbattle/series2.shtml))
2. Please check in for your match before your match. The check-in button is the yellow button at the top of each match page.
3. Players have 10 minutes to check in to their match. If a player fails to show up after 10 minutes, that player will lose the match.
4. Connection issues As soon as you notice a connection issue on your Nintendo Switch, you must do all of the following: • Take a screenshot of the error message with the screen capture button (◙) on their Nintendo Switch, or a pic with your phone, and send it to the admin in PokeVillageVGC via Discord link. Please call a Judge.
5. The Judge will examine the error codes and decide how the match should proceed.
6. Every Player must submit a Team Sheet. The team sheet must include the Pokemon, Ability, Tera Type, Item, and Moves.
7. If there is a team sheet mistake found, please call a Judge. The player who has the problem team sheet will receive the loss unless both players can agree to battle. For future rounds, the player who has the team sheet error must let their future opponents know the correct set for that Pokemon. If that player fails to do so, they may be dropped from the tournament.
8. Rental teams are allowed.
9. Players must be in the Discord Server for the duration of the tournament. There may be penalties if a Judge tries to reach out to a player and we are unable to reach them. The link is here (https://discord.gg/Qj4QnAjqRk))
10. If a player doesn't show up past Round 2, they will be dropped from the tournament.
11. Players will have 60 minutes to complete their match.
