Alright Trainers it's finally time! Join us on Friday January 13th at 6:30pm for The DMV Drakes first Pokemon VGC Tournament!

Since this is our first tournament, entry will be FREE, 1st place will win free entry for a future tournament, and top three will win the server's first Pokemon voice channels! (Prizing in future tournaments will start at $30 if we get 8 participants, and will increase for every entrant beyond that with a $5 entry fee.)

Additional Rules/Things to know:

1. This tournament will be Open Sheet, and players will have 3 min. of viewing time.*

2. Battles will be played over wi-fi in Scarlet/Violet*

3. Each round will be best of 3

4. Rounds will be in Swiss format

5. When paired, go to the corresponding table number in the discord server. Afterwards, when setting up the link battle with your opponent, select double battle with Official Rules Set 1 (the link code to use will be in your voice channel's title).

6. Rental teams are allowed

7. Tournament will likely be streamed, so there is a chance that your match can be featured. If you do not want to featured you must let one of our server admins know prior to the tournament starting

8. In the event of a connection error, take a screenshot of the error message with the screen capture button (◙) on your Nintendo Switch, or a pic with your phone, and send it to ArcaneKaze in our discord server. The player causing the connection issues will receive a different error message than the one who didn’t and thus will be assigned a game loss. Check if the internet connection to the game remains after the match concludes by pressing “Y” and then taking a clip by holding the screen capture button (◙) (you will have to hold it down for 3 seconds to start recording)

9. All participants must be in our discord server for the duration of the tournament
