Hello everyone and welcome to The Underground!
At The Underground, we hope to create an inviting, competitive, and legitimate tournament setting for everyone. All players are welcome to participate as long as they are in good standing. We expect players to be kind and respectful to each other to create the best tournament experience for everyone.
This tournament will be in the current standard format, meaning Sword and Shield - Silver Tempest. Decklists will be open and must be submitted before the tournament begins. If the deck you play doesn't match the decklist submitted on Limitless, you will receive a game loss for that round.
There is no tournament check-in, but you must check in before you play your rounds. The check-in timer will be set to 3 minutes and those who don't check in will receive a game loss for that round. If the match timer ends before a player has met a win condition, the match will end in a tie.
In swiss, wins are worth 3 points, ties are worth 1 point, and losses are worth 0 points. Intentional draws are allowed as long as both players agree. If a game result was reached before either player could report the result on Limitless, feel free to call a judge. In this case, a screenshot/evidence of the win might be needed.
If you wish to stream the tournament, you are 100% welcome to do so! We would recommend some kind of stream delay to prevent stream sniping, but it isn't mandatory. If you are streaming and have evidence/suspect your opponent is stream sniping, call a judge. These situations can be complicated, but with evidence, we can make a fair judgment call. Stream sniping would result in an immediate DQ.
