Welcome to the first LimitlessVGC event of the VGC23 season.

Flamigo

With the new ruleset announced Series1, we are hosting our first free-to-enter online event with a 1000$ prizepool. The event will be played on the Nintendo Switch (rental teams allowed) with swiss rounds + x-2 topcut.

To participate, you have to check in within 1 hour before the tournament starts.

Rules

Played on the Nintendo Switch - Rental teams allowed. Check VictoryRoad or VGCpaste

Pokémon Limits: Team of 4 to 6 Pokémon from Level 1 to Level 100. All Pokémon then set to Level 50 Pokemon Restrictions: Paldean Pokedex Banlist: Paradox Pokémon, Treasures of Ruin, Koraidon and Miraidon are banned.

Battle Time: 20 Minutes

Your Time: 7 Minutes

Team Preview: 90 Seconds

Turn Time: 45 Seconds

You have 65 minutes to set up your game and finish the best of 3. If there is no winner after 65 minutes, both players will be awarded a loss for that round.

Disconnects

If you encounter disconnection issues with your opponent, please follow these steps.

  1. The moment the error message appears on your screen, pull out your phone or any other video recording device and film your screen starting with closing the error message up until you are back in the Poke Portal. This recording is required to solve disputes. Without this recording, you may be penalized with a Game Loss after a disconnect.

  2. Can you mutually agree on who would have won the game ? Yes, then assign the win accordingly and move on to the next game. No, move on to Step 3

  3. Contact a judge through the tournament platform and provide your WIDEO evidence when requested.

Teamsheet errors

You are responsible to ensure your submitted team list matches your team ingame. The submitted list takes priority and any discrepancy is subject to penalty up to Game Losses and DQs.
