WELCOME TO THE HEGSTERTCG ENDGAME EVENT!

THE FINAL HEGSTER EVENT will be one to remember! There are thousands of PTCGO booster packs on the line for competitors, and best of all: Entry is free! Come play in one of the best, original PTCGO Tournament series, with some of the best players in the world! Plus it’s a great way to practice for some of the upcoming Regional Championship Events!

Upon registration, you agree with the following

  1. ALL FIELDS required by Limitless must be filled completely and accurately. if they are not, you will NOT be paired.

  2. TO CONTACT STAFF DURING the tournament use the call a judge button in the middle of your pairing screen. To contact them BEFORE or AFTER the tournament @Staff in the Discord Server.

  3. Your DECKLIST may be changed until the start of the tournament at 9:00am EDT. If you fail to submit a valid decklist by the deadline, you will be automatically dropped.

  4. You must CHECK-IN at the beginning of every match or you will be awarded a loss.

  5. If you have any problems please use the Call a Judge button on Limitless to notify us of the issue.

  6. If you are able to stream PTCGO through Discord we ask that you go into the STREAM CHANNELS during the tournament. If you're asked to share your screen/PTCGO.

  7. You will abide by the SPIRIT OF THE GAME and understand that we are all here to have a good time.

  8. Streaming with a delay is encouraged if you choose to stream during the event. Any players caught stream sniping will receive a Disqualification from the tournament

Overview

  • This PTCGO event will take place over the course of 2 days; May 14th and May 15th. Starting with 9 Swiss rounds on Saturday, The event will continue with additional Swiss rounds followed by a Top 8 Cut on Sunday. You can find the full event schedule under the Schedule tab.
  • This is a Free to play event. Enjoy and have fun!
  • This event will begin at 9:15 AM EDT on May 14th. Please make sure your decklist is submitted, and that you are ready to play at this time
  • Players who have obtained a minimum of 19 Match Points on day 1 (Saturday), will advance to the second day of competition where they will play swiss rounds starting on Sunday May 15th at 10:30 AM EDT. That number of Swiss Rounds being based off of the total number of players who have advanced to day 2
  • After all Swiss Rounds have been played, the top 8 players will compete in a single elimination, top cut bracket, where we will eventually crown a champion.
  • The event will be played using only cards Legal in the **Standard Format** (SWSH-BRS)
  • A reminder that a win is 3 match points, a draw is 1 match point, and a tie is 0 match points

    The Prize pool of this event will consist of 2,014 Brilliant Stars codes. Below is the Prize distribution:

    1st: 600 Packs

    2nd: 300 Packs

    Top 4: 145 Packs

    Top 8: 70 Packs

    Top 16: 34 Packs

    Top 32: 17 Packs

    DECKLIST

    You may only use one deck without any variation through the whole tournament.

    Your deck list must be imported from Pokemon TCG Online in text and published on your Limitless player information.

    Choosing a wrong deck to play will be sanctioned as a game loss, so please BE CAREFUL unless it is on accident and is fixed at the beginning of the round (like choosing a theme deck you have to show your opponent that it is the incorrect deck).

    All deck lists will be visible at all times on the Limitless platform.

    MATCH RULES

    Best of 3 - 50 minutes for swiss rounds

    Players will have 5 minutes to check in on their match, inactive opponents will receive a game loss after the timer countdowns to 0.

    Top Cut will be played on best of 3 with 60 minutes.

    In case of any technical difficulty during checking in, you have to click "request a judge" so a moderator can intervene, you must do this within the check-in time.

    Intentional Draws are allowed.

    Disconnection will be considered as a game loss.

    The PTCGO "Timer" must be enabled for the match.

    If players fail to report the outcome of the match on time, they will both receive a game-loss.

    If any PTCGO glitch is used to a player's advantage during a game, that player will receive a game-loss.

    We will use in-game data and player screenshots to resolve disputes.
