This Sword and Shield - Brilliant Stars Standard event (Lucario VSTAR & recent promos are legal) is brought to you by The Shuffle Squad and prizing generously donated by Stealth Shampoo . Play in this weekly series of tabletop gameplay (using physical cards via webcam on Discord). Compete to win FREE Pokémon TCG Codes and other various prizes!

event summary

  • The Shuffle Squad Weekly Tabletop Events are typically held EVERY Thursday with this one being held at 6:00PM Eastern
  • Swiss Round BO1 matches are 32 minutes long + 3 Turns
  • Top Cut BO3 matches are 64 minutes long + 3 Turns
  • If your opponent doesn't enter the Table VC within the first 3 mins of the match (29 mins remaining on the match), please call a Judge (this will be a Game Loss for your opponent)
  • If your opponent enters a Table VC and doesn't start playing within the first 4 mins of the match (28 mins remaining on the match), please call a Judge (this will be a Game Loss for your opponent)
  • This event has a cap of 64 players (if you don't register quickly someone else might take your spot)
  • This event will be played via webcam in The Shuffle Squad's Discord Server which can be found here: https://discord.gg/cb2dScwmqj
  • For each round, please go to the corresponding table number in The Shuffle Squad's Discord Server which can be found here: https://discord.gg/cb2dScwmqj
  • Spectating is welcome, but please mute yourself to let the players concentrate on their game
  • List submission closes approximately at 6:00PM Eastern
  • If time is called during your turn, that is the turn zero of time, please call a judge to determine the winner in case of any misunderstanding.
  • Players are allowed to stream their event run on any streaming service.
  • All rulings made by Staff are final and will be made with the players, Staff, and event in mind.

round structure The number of rounds for this event will accurately be based on the following amount of players:

  • 4-8 players = 3 Swiss Rounds and No Top Cut
  • 9-12 players = 4 Swiss Rounds and Top 4
  • 13-20 players = 5 Swiss Rounds and Top 4 Cut
  • 21-32 players = 5 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut
  • 33-64 players = 6 Swiss Rounds and Top 8 Cut

This event follows the official Pokémon TCG Tournament Structure for events as found here Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook under Section 4.6.3.2.

  • Entry for this tournament is 100% FREE
  • You will be required to submit a Standard Format legal deck list before 9:15PM Eastern
  • Players can use printed proxies (preferred in full color) or any language of card
  • Deck lists CANNOT be edited after 6:00PM Eastern
  • It is the players responsibility to Check In prior to each match - failure to do so will result in an automatic Game Loss
  • Issues and problems during your match will be handled by Tournament Staff - please use the Match Dispute button
  • All players must be friendly to their opponents and to the Tournament Staff - If not, penalties could occur
  • All participants are required to be in our Discord Server for updates on pairings, event announcements, etc.
  • The Shuffle Squad Weekly Tabletop Events follow the Official Pokémon Rules
  • The list of Compendium Rulings will be used to determine in-game rulings.
  • Any player who is found breaking rules, using in game exploits, bullying, harassing players, etc. will receive penalties
  • Any player who are problematic outside of this event (before, during, and after) may not be eligible to play in this event or future events
