To celebrate the success of The Sunday Open throughout 2021 we will be putting 400 Fusion Strike packs into the prize pool!
By registering for this tournament, you are indicating that you have joined our Discord server, reviewed the rules in the #read-this-first channel and agree to abide by them. Please note that the published schedule will only be confirmed once round one begins and we have confirmed the total number of players.
This week there is free entry into the prize pool, which has been funded by all of the generous donations over the past year and the income from our Twitch streams. if you have any further queries, please see the #read-this-first channel on our Discord server for details.
Below are some points that frequently catch out newer players, but please join the Discord Server, read the #read-this-first channel and ask questions if you have any! We are happy to provide answers.
- We play Standard Format according to what can be played on the PTCGO ladder, which means that new sets can be played as soon as they become available.
- The first Sunday of every month we play Expanded Format, again with new sets being legal as soon as they are available
- You must check in to the tournament before we start and then check in to your match every round. Round check-in is 3 Minutes during phase 1. Don't get caught out!
- We play with match timers enabled but this does not mean that a player can freely waste all of their time, every turn, in order to run out the round timer and avoid a loss.
- You must be contactable by a judge at all times during the tournament, preferably via discord or as a minimum in the match chat. Players that do not respond to judge communication run the risk of being awarded match losses or being dropped from the tournament
We hope to see you all there, and best of luck to all who play.
