Fusion Strike Weekly Special

Please note: while not required, you should join the Discord server in order to get updates and quick contact with a judge to resolve any issues.

This special format rules are:

• All cards from TEU (SM - Team Up) to current are legal (except for some exceptions listed below). Promo cards from SM158 and later are legal, SWSH001 and later are legal as well.
• CEL25 (Classic Collection) is NOT legal.
• You are ONLY allowed 2 copies of any named card (down from the standard 4). Energies are allowed multiples of.
• Your deck MUST consist of MAX 2 types of Pokemon. Colorless Pokemon are legal in any deck in addition to the 2 types. (So a Lightning / Grass / Colorless deck is legal, but not Lightning / Grass / Fire ) This can be any two types, but no other Pokemon is allowed in your deck!
• Banned cards:
  • Rule box Pokemon (NO GX, NO EX, NO V, NO VMAX, NO PRISM STAR)
  • Aerodactyl (TEU, 130)
  • Excadrill (UNM, 119)
  • Reset Stamp (UNM, 206)
  • Rapid Strike Energy (BST, 140)
  • Single Strike Energy (BST, 141)
  • Fusion Strike Energy (FST, 244)
  • Malamar (CRE, 070)

Our standard tournament rules will still apply below:

• Best of 1 Swiss rounds
• Rounds WILL be live
• Played over PTCGO
• Top cut rounds will be best of 3

Prizing will be given to all players participating who complete all Swiss rounds, with top 8 players earning bonus PTCGO packs. (Prizing will vary on number of participants.)

You are required to check in each round, and provide a deck list. Failure to do so before tournament start will result in a drop / match loss. Check starts 1 hour before the tournament start, and deck submissions close 30 minutes prior to tournament start.
