With Pokémon TCG Live coming around in November, there will no longer be a theme deck format(from what I heard), so I thought that a proper send off to the theme decks from the online platform would be to host a modified theme deck event!

Since PTCGO will be going down not too long from now, there is no prizing in this event, this is just meant to be for fun and to be a way for people to give a well goodbye to theme decks

Format requirements: Your deck may only contain cards from theme decks from HGSS-SWSH(will have a list for all cards that are legal)

Limits/bans: Empoleon(Cosmic Eclipse): Limit 1 Fighting fury belt: Limit 2 Muscle band: Limit 2 Snorlax(Sword and Shield Base Set): Limit 1

I’m not going too heavy on the bans and limits for now since this is the last modified theme deck tournament, and I want people to be able to play whatever they want for the most part, but this limit list or ban list might vary so PLEASE JOIN THE DISCORD TO STAY UPDATED

IF YOUR OPPONENT HAS A CARD IN THEIR LIST THAT IS EITHER NOT LEGAL/BANNED IN THIS FORMAT, OR GOES OVER THE LIMIT OF A CARD ON THE LIMIT LIST, CALL A JUDGE IMMEDIATELY AND IT WILL BE SORTED OUT

I hope for this tournament to be one people can join to be able to have fun in a format that will eventually be lost, and I hope we can be able to say a wholeheartedly goodbye to theme decks on the Pokémon online platforms forever
