Welcome to the 11th PokéStats Standard Event!

Here is the short version of our event information, please still read all of the event details:

What is this event?

This event is the 11th PokéStats Standard Event! This event will be played in the current Standard Format (SSH-EVS) in a format similar to a League Cup with Swiss followed by a Top Cut.

How will this event work?

Once the event Starts, you will be paired in Best-of-One Swiss Rounds, the amount of which will be based on attendance (plan for 5-6), with a 25 Minute Match Timer. After Swiss Rounds have completed, a Best-of-Three Top Cut will be played with a 60 Minute Match Timer. The number of Swiss Rounds will be decided in accordance with the following table, provided in the Play! Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook:

For each round, you will have exactly five minutes to Check-In before being given an automatic loss.

In this event, wins are worth three match points, ties are worth one match point, and losses are worth zero match points. Intentional Draws will be allowed.

Top Cut for this event will be "asymmetrical," meaning that there will be a fixed Top Cut, but if there is anyone that would "bubble" out of Top Cut with a record of X-1-1 or better will also automatically make it into the Top Cut, giving bye(s) to the higher seeds as needed. In the event that we have 9 or more Swiss Rounds, the fixed record will be X-2 instead. In addition, we will deviate from the table provided above for Top Cut. If there are 4 or fewer Swiss Rounds, the Top Cut Record will be X-1.

For this event, we are expecting 7 rounds, meaning the currently set amount of match points needed for top cut (16) is subject to change.

Prizing

This event's 110-pack prize pool will be self-funded, and will not be a regular occurrence; I just happen to have a bunch of extra codes that I will not use. As such, if you would like to donate any packs to this event, please contact @E_Arts15#3619 on Discord or @E_Arts15 on Twitter.

Of the 110 packs in the pool, 50 are Evolving Skies packs, and the rest are a mix from various Sword & Shield sets (mostly Vivid Voltage and Battle Styles.)

The prize distribution is as follows:

• 1st - 36 Packs (16 EVS + 20 Assorted)
• 2nd - 20 Packs (8 EVS + 12 Assorted)
• Top 4 - 10 Packs (5 EVS + 5 Assorted)
• Top 8 - 4 Packs (2 EVS + 2 Assorted)
• Top 16 - 2 Packs (1 EVS + 1 Assorted)
