VIRGINIA POKEMON TCG STANDARD TORUNAMENT!!
This tournament is closed to individuals within the Pokemon TCG Virignia Facebook group and requires and access code to enter!
Tournament Description
Tournament sign up closes July 24th at 5:55pm decklists need to be submitted by July 24th 6pm. First round starts at 6:05pm.
Phase one:
A best of Three 45 minuet round where wins are 3 points and ties are 1 point (losses award 0 points) There are 6 rounds to play and a minimum of 12 points are needed to make it to Phase 2 which means you have to win 4 rounds minimum to make it to phase 2! ** PLEASE NOTE: WHEN YOU LOSE IN A BEST OF 3 YOU CHOOSE FIRST OR SECOND, YOU DO NOT RELY ON A COIN FLIP. LOSER OF A GAME ALWAYS CHOOSES IN GAME 2 and 3. THIS WILL BE THE SAME IN PHASE 2. This is where you gotta shine because phase two gets harder!
Phase Two:
Phase Two is a best of three no time limit single elimination format. People who earned the minimum of 12 points get to move on here and start eliminating each other from the tournament, fighting for the prizes going to 1st, 2nd, 3rd
First Place Prize: Shining Fates ETB Second Place Prize: Chilling Reign ETB Third Place Prize: Battle Styles ETB
More prizes may be announced before tournament start!
Ensure you are in the discord as you will be required to be there to play in the tournament. Rules are posted in discord.

6 Swiss Rounds - BO3
45 minutes per round
5 minute round check-in
players with 12 or more points advance to the next phase
Phase 2
3 Single Elimination Rounds - BO3

Wins are worth 3 match points, ties 1
