Hello and welcome to Niche Gaming's Second Hosting of Type Wars, a format where each player is limited to mostly using pokemon of an assigned type(more below).

Rules:

This is a paid entry tournament. Please send 2 packs of Battle Styles to ellomello044208.

You must choose 1 of the 11 types of Pokemon to build your deck around: Grass, Fire, Water, Lightning, Psychic, Fighting, Dark, Metal, Fairy, Dragon, or Colorless.

Decklists must be standard legal, containing only Pokemon of your chosen type, AS WELL AS NORMAL TYPES.

The following cards and all alternate printings are banned: Dragapult RCL 091

Normal types must not exceed the number of your chosen type of Pokemon in your deck! For example, if I choose Psychic type and have 10 Psychic type Pokemon in my deck, I could not have any more than 10 Normal type Pokemon in that deck

Registration closes on Thursday June 3rd at 10 PM CST.

Round 1 will go up Friday at 9am CST. If players need extra time to build their lists they can DM kingK4RP or another judge.

All multi-prize Pokemon (all Pokemon-GX, Tag Team-GX, Pokemon-V, and Pokemon VMAX) are banned.

Round 1 will be up at 9 AM CST on Friday June 4th, with each round going up at 9 AM (or as close as we can get, give us some grace) the following day.

Decklists will be open.

The prize pool will be based on attendance, as well as 15-25 BST(depending on attendance) donated by me and store credit from Atlas Collectables.

Players must arrange with their opponents the time they wish to play, extensions will be granted on a case-to-case basis but try to play within the allotted time.

Failure to show up to an agreed time to play within 15 minutes will result in a game 1 loss, failure to show up within half an hour will result in a series loss. Show up to your matches on time.

Picking the wrong deck or choosing the wrong player to go first will result in a game loss unless otherwise agreed upon by the opponent, click carefully people.

Be respectful. The Mod team will not hesitate to hand out penalties to players who break this rule after an initial warning or upon egregious offense.
