Day #1 Swiss Rounds
Entry for the tournament is FREE - players are required to enter email, discord ID, and age to register, then join the tournament Discord Server, and submit a valid deck list.
Failure to submit a valid deck list along with checking in on time will result in being dropped from the event.
Registration ends at 9am EST on Saturday, November 28th - one hour before the event begins.
Check in for day #1 will open once registration ends - at 9am EST on Saturday, November 28th.
All registration fields must be completed and submitted prior to the beginning of the tournament, to avoid being dropped.
Players are required to check in before playing each swiss round match - players will have 5 minutes to check in once the match timer has begun, and failure to check in will result in a loss. (Check in can be found by viewing your match under the pairings tab).
Players are expected to record their own match results - and are strongly encouraged to take screenshots of their game for proof of victory in the case that any issues may arise.
Players wishing to drop from the tournament at any time during the swiss rounds on day 1 should drop themselves using their dashboard menu on the tournament page (top right of screen).
All issues and disputes should be handled on the limitless website - not the discord server (this can be done by clicking "request a judge" within your match page in the pairings tab).
All players who accumulate enough points through the first day of swiss rounds will move onto to day 2.
Day #2 Swiss Rounds
Day two of swiss rounds will begin at 10 am EST on Sunday, November 29th - Pairings will be posted at 9:50 EST.
Players should be ready to play at 10 am EST. And once the day two matches begin, players will have 10 minutes to check in before starting their day 2 matches.
Structure for day 2 swiss rounds will follow suit with day 1, with no discernable difference.
Players are required to keep up with posting and updates in the Discord Server to be updated appropriately as we begin our second day of the tournament.
After the 5 rounds of swiss are finished for day 2, the top 8 players will move on to the top cut bracket, which will begin after a short 40 minute intermission (This is when we will work with the top 8 players to coordinate our livestreamed matches).
Top Cut Bracket
Once the top cut bracket has been seeded, Tournament staff will inform each player about the time of their match and when to be ready to play.
Each individual match will have its own time slot - giving all players the opportunity to be showcased live on our Twitch.tv livestream (This will result in our top cut lasting around 5-6 hours).
Top cut will be single elimination - BO3 matches with 50 minute match timers & a 10 minute check in timer.
Rules & Regulations
Bullying, Harassments, or failure to comply with tournament staff or fellow competitors will not tolerated by any means.
Players are required to communicate with their paired opponents, and place themselves into a match in a timely fashion..
Players are required to use the same deck list throughout the tournament - If a player make changes to their submitted deck list, they will automatically lose the match.
The PTCGO Client can be unpredictable at times - Any disconnections during match, or exploits of bugs/glitches will result in an automatic game loss.
Cheating of any kind will result in disqualification without prizes from the event, and being banned from all future events. If you are in a match where you believe your opponent cheated, please send any evidence you may have to the tournament staff. In addition to Hacking, "CHEATING" ALSO INCLUDES USING ANY BUG OR UNINTENDED EXPLOIT THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME, intentionally or unintentionally. If this somehow happens to you unintentionally, you should immediately alert your opponent and tournament staff - if you don't, you will be deemed to have been Cheating, and you will be disqualified without prizing and banned from all future events.
Sportsmanlike conduct is expected. You are NOT allowed to be disruptive or grief your opponent in Real Life, such as in any Discord or Twitch chat (or any other actions that could be considered unsportsmanlike conduct except for actions intended to be allowed within the game itself as part of normal game-play.) If you do, your actions may result in a game loss, match loss, or disqualification from the event without prizes, solely at the discretion of the Tournament Staff.
If you have the capability, live streaming and/or recording video of all of your matches is a good idea, to help eliminate any possibility of any dispute arising as to performance in a given match.
Select matches for this event may be streamed on a designated/one of our Official Twitch channels. Competitors playing in the event may live stream the event from their own POV as well (and are strongly encouraged to do so!) By registering for this event, you agree that we may live re-broadcast your live stream from our designated Twitch channels and Shout-cast any game-play during the course of the event, as well as create VODs of this Content, which we may choose to make available on our official Youtube channels and other platforms, so others may marvel at your awesome plays (or epic fails!)
By registering for the event, it means you agree to the GGtoor Privacy Policy: https://ggtoor.com/privacy.php
