INTRO TO TIMELESS

Partner Pokemon - You must choose a Pokemon-ex, Pokemon-EX, Pokemon-GX, or Pokemon V as their Pokemon that remains outside their deck in their Partner Zone. These cards have their own unique effect in this game

Instead your normal draw phase at the start of your turn, you may add this card to your hand. You can't use this effect if there is a cooldown counter on this Pokemon. At the start of your turn after you draw, remove (1) cooldown counter if any.
When this Pokemon is removed from play, placed in the deck, discard, or lost zone return it to the Partner Zone instead with an additional cooldown counter then previously.
These suffix Pokemon are all considered the same. An effect that applies to Pokemon-ex applies to Pokemon-V as well
Pokemon with the same name as your partner Pokemon deal +10 Damage to the opponent's active Pokemon (before applying weakness)

HERE ARE SOME OTHER TIMELESS RULES

Your deck may only contain one copy of each card (singleton)
Decks are still limited to 4x each Pokemon
Cards that are functionally the same are treated as reprints even if they are different names (can't use both in a deck) (example: Item Finder and Junk Arm, Professor Oak's New Theory and Cynthia)
Cards (specifically Trainers, Items, Supporters, Stadiums, and Tools) and their effects should be translated to new text based on the types of cards they are referring to in their respective generation. Tools are now considered their own subtype (example: Spiritomb AR prevents both players from playing item cards in today's terminology.
Prefixes are ignored, but suffixes (like -ex, V) are considered different Pokemon

HALL OF FAME POINTS Certain cards in the Unlimited Format prove to be problematic, but rather than ban cards we've created a Hall of Fame, where these cards are appraised and rated to fit their power level. The typical game of Timeless will feature a total of 7 Hall of Fame Points that players can spread across a varying selection of powerful cards to make their deck unique.
