Gaard Gauntlet Seasonal
Welcome to the Gaard Gauntlet.
This FREE series of tournaments leading up to an invitational will be as follows.
- 6 rounds with 5 minute check in and 25 minute play time.
- Tournaments are biweekly on Tuesdays and start at 8 pm est
- Top cut is 15+ Points (or 5+ rounds won)
- Top cut of each biweekly event will get codes, but the invitational will have cash prizing, code prizing, and also a custom Champion Mat to first place.
Top Cut
Top Cut is a single elimination bracket for everyone that gets 15+ points, or 5/6 rounds. So the amount needed to Top Cut will always remain the same. Top 8 will gets Codes
- 1st - 10 Codes
- 2nd - 8 Codes
- T4 - 6 Codes
- T8 - 5 Codes Everyone else in the tournament will get points based on position. If we ever cut out to more than top 8, prizing will be added accordingly.
Invitational
The invitational will have cash prizing, code prizing, and a Champion Mat to first place. At present this prizing is provided by me and comes out of my own pocket, so the exact amount is TBD, but will be at minimum 100$ prizing + codes + the Mat. Whether or not I add more to the prize pool will be determined by my own financial situation.

Points
There are no kickers, just points based on position. It was going to be points per win, but a specific point system is required to be applied across all tournaments in a series, so I'm going with a more diverse point spread to reward both placing and participation.
- 1st: 20 points
- 2nd: 15 points
- Top 4: 12 points
- Top 8: 10 points
- Top 16: 8 points
- Top 32: 6 points
- Top 64: 4 points
- Top 128: 3 points
- Top 256: 2 points
- Top 512: 1 point
