Welcome to the Darkside Pokemon Tournament.

Swiss Round BO1 matches: Each match lasts 30 minutes, with a 5-minute Check-In per round.

Top Cut BO3 matches: Each match lasts 60 minutes, with a 5-minute Check-In per round.

Ties: If time runs out and a game is still in progress, ties occur. If a game concludes before time but the result cannot be entered before the timer expires, take a screenshot of the game result and request a judge. They will decide based on the screenshot and check-in times if the game was completed before time ran out.

Sets and promo cards: Legal on the day they become available on PTCGL.

In-game issues: Game freezing, internet problems, device crashes, or client-related issues result in a Game Loss. Try to finish the game otherwise.

Connection issues at the start: If the game disconnects before the first turn, restart and attempt to reconnect. Time extension may be granted if needed.

Screenshot victories: It's recommended to screenshot your victory screens. Unless stated in the chat that you're leaving due to time/tie, the player with the victory screen will be awarded the game.

Streaming: Players can stream games but are advised to have a delay to prevent "stream sniping." Any advantages gained from streaming may lead to a match loss, such as taking play advice from chat or viewing the opposing player's hand.

Rule violations: Breaking rules, using game exploits, harassment, etc., will result in penalties.

Slow playing: Intentional slow playing may result in a game loss at the judge's discretion.

Problematic behavior: Players causing issues inside or outside the event may be ineligible to play.

All cards are "legal for play" on release day.

Tournament Discord: Join the tournament Discord for announcements and schedule changes.

Contacting Judges: Do not add judges or organizers on Discord; use the public Discord or the judge call button.
