TheDipidis Casual Testing – don't take it too seriously

Just for fun – nothing at stake. It's all about a few easy, quick games and a bit of practice. If a game goes sideways, shrug it off and enjoy the next one.

A purely casual online tournament. Short, quick rounds to prepare for your next local tournament or Major.

Many of us don't have time to play regularly – but walking into an in-person event with no practice at all is tough. These casual testing rounds are here to fill that gap: jump in, play a few fast games, get a feel for your own deck and for the decks you'll face, and get back to your day.

How it works

  • Format: Standard (TEF–30C), played on Pokémon TCG Live
  • Rounds: 5 rounds Swiss, 20 minutes of playing time per round (best of one)
  • Decklist submission is required before the start (open decklists)
  • Check-in opens 30 minutes before the start and is required – please only check in if you can play all rounds
  • Report your result yourself right after the game

Please note

  • No disputes, no no-show claims. Nobody will step in during or after a match. Judge calls are only for correcting a wrongly reported result.
  • All games follow the official Pokémon TCG tournament rules – with one exception: there is no overtime. When the round timer runs out, the match ends immediately and counts as a tie (Limitless resolves unfinished matches automatically – please stop playing at time).
  • If something goes wrong (disconnect, missing opponent, misplay), agree on a fair result with your opponent, report it and move on.
  • This is practice in a competitive setting – play to win, but keep it friendly.

Every weekday at 11:00 (CEST/CET)

Rapid Rounds run Monday to Friday. After each event we post a recap with the meta share and the top decks.

Want to prepare even better? On thedipidis.app you will find the current meta share and matchups, analyze and build your deck, and a battle journal for your results.
