Climb the ranked ladder all week. The top finisher takes the weekly prize. New climb every week.

This page is the info hub. Everything happens in the app:

1. Download TopCut VGC (free): topcutvgc.com
2. Open Ranked, register your team, and add your Champions Trainer ID
3. Tap Enter this week's Climb on the This Week tab
4. Play ranked games all week. The live board updates as you climb

How the winner is decided

We use the same math Smogon uses for suspect tests:

• GXE is your estimated win chance against an average ladder player
• COIL = 40 x GXE x 2^(-B/N), where N is your valid games this week and B is posted weekly
• COIL rewards both winning and playing. You cannot camp a lucky start, and you cannot grind your way up with a losing record
• The board and the current B value are always visible on the This Week tab

The fine print

• Free to enter. No purchase necessary. The prize is funded by TopCut VGC, not by entries
• You must enter in-app (one tap) before the weekly cutoff to be prize-eligible
• 18+ to receive a prize directly. Minors need a parent or guardian's consent; prizes are paid to the guardian
• Forfeits, no-shows, and disputed games do not count toward your score
• Top finishers are reviewed before payout. Win-trading or account sharing means disqualification from the prize
